Who we are. SpendDay is an expense-tracking app that reads receipts from photos. Data controller: your business name, address, email.

What we collect

• Account: email or a Sign in with Apple identifier.
• Receipts: the receipt photo (without EXIF/GPS — the app strips metadata before upload), recognised items, amounts, store, date.
• Settings: language, country, currency, time zone.
• Purchases: subscription status from the App Store (no card data — Apple handles payment).
• Technical data: error logs without receipt contents.

How we use it

Only to run the app: receipt recognition, analytics, the advisor, budgets. We do not sell data and show no ads.

Who we share it with

The AI model provider (only the receipt image and aggregates for the advisor), the hosting provider, Apple (subscriptions). All under data-processing agreements.

Retention

Original photos — 90 days; receipt data — for as long as the account exists. A deleted account is purged completely within 24 hours.

Your rights

Export your data and delete the account from the app's settings. Questions: support@spendday.app.
